- Check that the motor, which does not operate by the seat memory switch, can operate by operating the power seat switch for 10 seconds or more: If the results are OK, replace the motor which does not operate by the seat memory switch with a new one.
- Inspect the power seat motor. See POWER SEAT INSPECTIONΒ . If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good repair or replace the power seat motor. See POWER SEAT MOTORΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Check the power seat motor and seat position control ECU wiring harness. See Fig 2. If the continuity is OK, check and replace the position control ECU assembly. See POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLYΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity is not good, repair or replace the harness and connector.
