For circuit wiring diagram, see Fig 1.

  1. Check the door lock control receiver:
    • Check that the wireless system will operate when connected to new or normal door control receiver.
    • Check that no diagnosis has been output. If no diagnosis has been output, go to step Β 2. If diagnosis has been output, replace the door lock control receiver. See DOOR CONTROL RECEIVERΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Check the wiring harness. See Fig 2. If the wiring harness is not good, repair or replace harness and connector. If the wiring harness is OK, replace the multiplex body ECU. See MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM article in COMMUNICATION DEVICES.

When to See a Mechanic
