NOTE:
Refer to Fig 1 when performing test drive confirmation.
- Connect the hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool to the DLC3.
- Start the engine and warm it up with all the accessories switched OFF until the water temperature is stable.
- Race the engine at 2500-3000 RPM for about 3 minutes.
- When racing the engine at 3000 RPM for 2 seconds and 2000 RPM for 2 seconds alternately, check the waveform of the heated oxygen sensor (B1 S2). See Fig 2.
