- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Drain coolant. Remove engine cover. Remove air cleaner assembly with hose. Remove front suspension upper center brace. Remove intake air surge tank.
- Remove pulsation damper and 2 gaskets. See Fig 1. Remove bolt and 2 gaskets. Remove bolt and disconnect fuel pipe sub-assembly No. 1 from intake manifold. Disconnect injector connectors. Remove 2 bolts and fuel delivery pipe, while pulling out both ends of fuel delivery pipe equally. While turning injector clockwise and counterclockwise, pull out injector from delivery pipe.
