Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Replacement

- REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE
- DISCONNECT ACCELERATOR CABLE
- REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
- Disconnect the fuel tube connector (metallic connector) (see
SFI SYSTEM ).CAUTION:
- Disconnect the fuel tube connector (metallic connector) after observing the precautions.
- As there is retained pressure in the fuel pipe line, prevent it from splashing inside the engine compartment.
- Remove the 2 bolts and pulsation damper.
- Disconnect the fuel tube connector (metallic connector) (see
SFI SYSTEM ).
- REINSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
- Install the pulsation damper with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf)
- Connect the fuel tube connector (metallic connector) (see SFI SYSTEM ).
- Install the pulsation damper with the 2 bolts.
- RECONNECT ACCELERATOR CABLE
- RECONNECT AIR CLEANER HOSE
