Radio Receiver: Replacement

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Replacement

  • Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSY NO.3 (SEE  INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY  ) 
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSY NO.4 (SEE  INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY  ) 
  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSY CENTER (SEE  INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY  ) 
  4. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  5. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY W/BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the radio receiver-assembly w/ bracket.

  6. REMOVE RADIO BRACKET NO.1 
    1. Remove the 6 screws and radio bracket No.1.

  7. REMOVE RADIO BRACKET NO.2 
    1. Remove the 6 screws and radio bracket No.2.
