- DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE NO. 3 (BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL)
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO. (See INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY LOWER (See INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY )
- REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY
- Disconnect the 3 stereo component amplifier connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts, then remove the stereo component amplifier.
- REMOVE ECM
- Remove the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the 5 ECM connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts, then remove the ECM.
- REMOVE ECM BRACKET
- Remove the 2 screws, then remove the ECM bracket.
- REMOVE ECM BRACKET NO. 2
- Remove the 2 screws, then remove the ECM bracket No. 2.
- REMOVE ECM BRACKET NO. 3
- Remove the 2 screws, then remove the ECM bracket No. 3.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 3
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 2
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET
- INSTALL ECM
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)
- INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY LOWER
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO. 1
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
- CONNECT ENGINE WIRE NO. 3 (BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL)
Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
- RESET MEMORY
- SYSTEM INITIALIZATION (See PRECAUTION )
