- Remove Engine Under Cover LH.
- Remove oil pump:
- Remove the plug.
- Remove the O-ring from the plug.
- Remove the 5 bolts and oil pump cover.
- Remove the "O" ring.
- Remove the oil pump driven rotor and drive rotor.
- Remove the oil pump drive shaft. See Fig 5.
- Install oil pump:
- Apply ATF to each sliding part.
- Install the oil pump drive shaft.
- Install the oil pump driven rotor and drive rotor.
- Install a new "O" ring.
- Apply liquid sealer to 2 or 3 threads of the bolt end.
Sealant: Part No. 08833-00080, THREE BOND 1344, LOCTITE 242 or equivalent.
- Install the oil pump cover with the 5 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf) .
- Install a new "O" ring and the plug.

Torque: 7.35 N.m (75 kgf.cm, 65 in.lbf) .
- Install Engine Under Cover LH.
