2004 Toyota Celica GT, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

NOTE: In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step  1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step  2.
  1. Check jam protection limit switch using TOYOTA hand-held tester. 

    Preparation  : connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC 3.

    CHECK  : the jam protection limit switch using DATA LIST.

    1. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
    2. NG  , go to step  2.
  2. Check jam protection limit switch  . See step 11 of INSPECTION .
    1. NG  : Replace the power window motor.
    2. OK  , go to step  3.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between jam protection limit switch and driver door ECU. 
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
