NOTE:
In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step 2.
- Check jam protection limit switch using TOYOTA hand-held tester.
Preparation : connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC 3.
CHECK : the jam protection limit switch using DATA LIST.
- OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
- NG , go to step 2.
- Check jam protection limit switch
. See step 11 of INSPECTION

- NG : Replace the power window motor.
- OK , go to step 3.
- Check wire harness and connector between jam protection limit switch and driver door ECU.
- NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
- OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
