NOTE:
In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step 2.
- Check The Back Door Unlock Detection Switch Using TOYOTA Hand-Held Tester.
PREPARATION: Connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC3.
CHECK: the back door unlock detection switch using DATA LIST.
- OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table . SeePROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
- NG: Go to step 2.
- Check Back Door Unlock Detection Switch
.
- NG: Replace the back door lock motor.
- OK: Go to step 3.
- Check Wiring Harness And Connector Between Back Door Unlock Detection Switch And Back Door ECU.
- NG: Repair or replace wiring harness or connector.
- OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table . See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
