- Remove drain plug and drain fluid. See Fig 1.
- Install NEW gasket and drain plug. Tighten drain plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- With engine OFF, add NEW fluid through oil filler pipe up to COOL level on dipstick. See Figure. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDSΒ .
- Start engine and shift lever into all positions from "P" to "L" and then shift into "P" position.
- With engine idling, check fluid level.
- Add fluid up to COOL level on dipstick.
- Check fluid level at normal operating temperature of 158-176Β°F (70-80Β°C) and add as necessary. See Figure.
- Check for transmission fluid leaks. If there are leaks, repair as necessary.
CAUTION:
Do not overfill transaxle.
