- Using special tool (09843-18040), connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3. See Figure.
- Turn the ignition switch ON. Read the DTC from the ABS warning light blinking patterns on the combination meter. If 2 or more malfunctions are indicated at the same time the lowest numbered DTC will be displayed first. For the blinking patterns for normal and codes 11 and 21 see Figure. - If a code does not appear, inspect the Tc terminal circuit or ABS warning light circuit. See SYSTEM TESTINGΒ .
- Read the information from the multi-information display on the combination meter. "VSC OK" is displayed when VSC system is normal. If any DTC is detected, "VSC 31", for example, will be displayed. If there are 2 or more DTC, they will be displayed in ascending order of the number. If no code appears, test the VSC warning indicator circuit and Tc terminal circuit. See SYSTEM TESTINGΒ .
