2004 Toyota Celica GT, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the jam protection pulse switch. See JAM PROTECTION PULSE SWITCH (DRIVER)Β  or JAM PROTECTION PULSE SWITCH (PASSENGER)Β  . If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, replace the power window motor. See WINDOW REGULATOR (FRONT DOOR)Β  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Check the wiring harness and connector between the jam protection pulse switch and appropriate door ECU (driver or passenger). If the results are OK, check the appropriate door ECU (driver door ECU with master switch or passenger door ECU with power window switch). If the results are not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
