Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Memory System
The memory seat ECU effects control by memorizing 2 seat positions and outside rear view mirror position. See Fig 1. There is a mechanism to detect the seat position, in which the memory seat ECU converts the driving current pulsations generated by the rotation of the motor into pulse signals. See Fig 2.
A pulse generation circuit in the memory seat ECU converts the driving current pulsations that are generated by the rotation of the motor into pulse signals. See Fig 3. These signals are then picked up in order to detect the seat position. As a result, the construction of the system has been simplified.
