Sliding Roof: Disassembly

- REMOVE SUNSHADE STOPPERS
- Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 17 in..lbf)
- REMOVE NO. 1 AND NO. 2 SUNSHADE TRIMS
- REMOVE FRONT HOUSING FRAME
Remove the 6 screws and front housing frame as shown in the illustration.
- Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 17 in..lbf)
- REMOVE REAR ROOF DRIP CHANNEL
- REMOVE LH AND RH ROOF DRIP CHANNEL
- REMOVE CABLE GUIDE CASING
- Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 17 in..lbf)
- REMOVE DRIVE CABLE
- Remove the screw.
- Slide the drive cable rearward, then remove it.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
HINT:
At the time of reassembly, please refer to the following items.
- Adjust the drive cable to a closed and tilted down position.
- Slide the cable forward or backward to align the 2 marks as shown in the illustration.
