REPLACEMENT

1. PRECAUTION
2. SEPARATE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSY CENTER
4. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER RH
5. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER LH
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER
7. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.1
8. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.2




9. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER
a. Remove the clamp from the air bag sensor assy center.
b. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the air bag sensor assy center.
c. Remove the 3 bolts and air bag sensor assy center.

10. INSPECT AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER

11. INSTALL AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER
a. Check that the ignition switch turn OFF.
b. Check that the battery negative terminal is disconnected.

NOTE: Do not start the operation for 90 seconds after removing the terminal.

c. Temporarily install the air bag sensor assy center with the 3 bolts.
d. Tighten the 3 bolts to the specified torque.

Torque: 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

e. Connect the connector to the air bag sensor assy center.
f. Check that no play is identified.
g. Check that the water-proof sheet is properly set.

12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
