Removal & Installation

1999 Toyota Camry XLE, 2.2 GSECTION Removal & Installation
  1. Turn ignition off. Remove right front inner fender liner. Remove A/C hose assembly joint mounting bolt. Remove power steering line clamp bolt (if equipped). Disconnect brakelines attached to actuator.
  2. Disconnect 2 actuator electrical connectors. Remove bolts and nuts from bracket. Remove actuator assembly with actuator bracket. Remove holder bolts from actuator bracket. Remove actuator.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten brakeline fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEMΒ . See Fig 1.
