Circuit Description
Sensor check circuit detects abnormalities in speed sensor signal which cannot be detected when checking for DTCs. Connecting terminals Ts and E1 of DLC1 in engine compartment starts DTC check. On 2000 models, terminals Tc and CG of DLC3 may also be used. See Figure.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
