Diagnostic Procedure

1999 Toyota Camry XLE, 2.2 GSECTION Diagnostic Procedure

Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of DLC1 or DLC2. If voltage is 10-14 volts, circuit is okay. If ABS warning light does not blink even after terminals are connected, malfunction may exist in ABS ECU. If voltage is not 10-14 volts, check for open or short circuit in wiring harness between ABS ECU and DLC1 and DLC2, or between ground and DLC1 and DLC2. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . Repair as necessary. If wiring harness is okay, replace ABS ECU.
