- If any DTCs other than DTC P0106 are displayed, diagnose and repair those DTCs first. If only DTC P0106 is displayed, go to next step.
- Check MAP sensor. See ENGINE SENSORS & SWITCHES in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - 4-CYLINDER article. If problem exists, replace MAP sensor. If problem does not exist, check vacuum hose to MAP sensor. Replace vacuum hose as necessary and retest.
