Ignition Switch
Disconnect ignition switch connector. With ignition switch in specified position, check continuity between specified terminals of ignition switch connector. See IGNITION SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. See Fig 1. If continuity is not as specified, replace ignition switch.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
