Remove relay. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace relay. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 1 and 3. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, relay is okay. If continuity is not present, replace relay.
