Engine Identification

The engine serial number is stamped on the side of the engine block below the cylinder head. Vehicle identification number (VIN) is displayed in 3 locations on the vehicle. These locations are the name plate in engine compartment, on top left side of dash, and certification plate on left door post. The 4th thru 8th characters of the (VIN) indicates Y for 3Y-EC engine, R for Van, 22 or 26 for model code and GVW.
