- Loosen 2 TPS retaining screws. Insert a .028" (.70 mm) thickness gauge between throttle stop screw and throttle. With ignition off and electrical connector disconnected, connect ohmmeter between terminals IDL and TL.
- Gradually turn TPS counterclockwise until ohmmeter needle deflects. Secure TPS retaining screws. Perform resistance tests for terminals IDL - TL.
