SERVICE INFORMATION
Recall Bulletin: Recall Bulletins are mandatory service procedures that must be carried out by Tesla-certified Service Centers.

CONDITION
On certain vehicles operating firmware releases before 2022.4.5 (except 2021.43.101.1), under certain circumstances, the driver seat belt reminder chimes may fail to reset after sounding a reminder, and may not sound upon the next vehicle start cycle. The seat belt chimes will continue to sound when the vehicle exceeds 14 mph (22 km/h) with the driver seat belt unbuckled, and the visual seat belt reminder is not affected in any way.
CORRECTION
Inspect the firmware version installed in the vehicle, and if necessary, update to version 2022.4.5 or later.

PROCEDURE
- On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls
(vehicle icon) > Software
, and then scroll down to display the vehicle firmware version.
- If the vehicle is operating with firmware version 2022.4.5 or a newer release, then no further action is necessary. Use correction code S012200002.
- If the vehicle is operating with firmware version 2021.43.101.1, then no further action is necessary. Use correction code S012200002.
- If the vehicle is operating with a firmware version before 2022.4.5, and it is not 2021.43.101.1, then update to the latest available firmware release. Use correction code S022200002.
