Was "CVT System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to CVT SYSTEM CHECK .
DTC check 
  1. Check DTC related to CAN communication.

Is there any CAN-DTC(s) detected? 
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Go to Step 3.
DTC check of ECM 
  1. Check DTC of ECM. See DTC CHECK

Is there any DTC(s)? 
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Go to Step 4.
Brake light switch check 
  1. Check brake light switch. See BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION

Is it in good condition? 
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. Replace brake light switch.
