Gear Shift and Select Shaft Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal

  1. Remove battery and tray with ECM. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Disconnect gear shift and gear select control cables from transaxle. See GEAR SHIFT CONTROL LEVER AND CABLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONΒ .
  3. Remove gear shift interlock bolt (1) and gear shift locating spring (2).
  4. Remove gear shift & select shaft assembly (3).
