Removal Procedure

2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel left lower closeout panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT SIDE .
  2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT .

  3. Disconnect the cruise brake switch connector.

  4. Rotate the cruise brake switch counterclockwise and remove the cruise brake switch from the switch retainer.
    NOTE: Depressing the brake pedal will allow easier access of the retainer locking tabs.
  5. Gently compress the locking tabs on the cruise brake retainer and remove the switch retainer from the brake pedal assembly.
