OCV (Oil Control Valve) Inspection

2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION OCV (Oil Control Valve) Inspection

  • Remove OCV. See OCV (OIL CONTROL VALVE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
  • Check resistance between terminals of OCV connector (1).

    If check result is not satisfactory, replace OCV.

    Oil control valve resistance 

    6.7 - 7.7 Ω (at 20 °C (68 °F))

  • Connect battery to OCV connector (1) as shown in figure, check operating sound at the same time operate spool valve (2).
