Reference: KNOCK SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Disconnect connector (2) from knock sensor.
- Connect oscilloscope (1) as shown in figure.
- Check that knock sensor signal (1) shows the following waveform when cylinder block is given a shock by plastic hammer.
If faulty condition is found, replace knock sensor.
