2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Electric Throttle Control System Calibration

  1. Select calibration procedure from table below.
    ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM CALIBRATION REFERENCE CHART

    Calibration procedure Service item

    • ECM power supply shutoff (i.e. disconnection of battery cable, replacement of battery, "DOME" fuse blown)
    • ECM replacement
    • Clearance of DTC(s) related to electric throttle control system
    [B]
    • Throttle body assembly replacement
    • APP sensor assembly replacement
  2. Perform selected calibration procedure as follows.

    Calibration procedure [A]:Β 

    1. Keep ignition switch in ON position for 5 seconds or more without running engine.

    Calibration procedure [B]:Β 

    1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
    2. Disconnect ECM connectors for 30 seconds or more to clear calibration data of closed throttle position from ECM.
    3. Connect ECM connectors and connect negative cable to battery.
    4. Keep ignition switch in ON position for 5 seconds or more without running engine.
