- Remove any RTV sealant (1) from the engine front cover using J 28410.
- Clean out debris from the bolt holes.
- Clean the engine front cover in solvent.WARNING: Refer to SAFETY GLASSES CAUTION .
- Dry the engine front cover with compressed air.
