- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
- Release the clips (1) on the air cleaner lower half.
- Open and rotate the air cleaner upper half.
- Remove the air cleaner element.
