2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heater outlet hose to the surge tank.
  2. Install the surge tank to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the surge tank bolts to the surge tank.

    Tightening torqueΒ 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)Β  .

  4. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank.
  5. Install the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the surge tank.
  6. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (LY7 GE 47716 FILL)Β  and DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (LY7 STATIC FILL)Β .
