PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
1 Rear Differential Fill Plug
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

  1. The fluid level should be level with the bottom of the threads of the fill hole.
  2. If the fluid level is low, refer to REAR AXLE LUBRICANT REPLACEMENT  for the proper fill instructions and type of fluid.

Tightening torque 
Tighten the fill plug to 39 N.m (29 lb ft).
