Circuit/System Testing

2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Circuit/System Testing

NOTE: You must perform the CIRCUIT/SYSTEM VERIFICATIONΒ  before proceeding with Circuit/System Testing.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the C1 harness connector at the TCM.
  2. Test for less than 1.0Β° of resistance between ground circuit terminal 9 and ground.
    • If greater than the specified value, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
  3. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 11 and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and the B+ circuit fuse is open, replace the TCM.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the TCM.
