- Position the battery (1) in the battery box (2).
- Install the washer (3) and battery hold down (4).CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the hold down bolt (5).
Tightening torqueΒ
Tighten the hold down bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).Β
- Install the positive and negative battery cables. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDUREΒ .
- Position the battery lid (3) so that the alignment tabs (2) are in position.
- Lock the locking tabs (1) on the side of the battery box.
- Install the PCM (2) on the battery box cover (1).
