2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Circuit / System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the theft deterrent module (TDM).
- Ignition OFF, test for less than 1.0 Ξ© of resistance between the ground circuit terminal 3 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open / high resistance. If the circuit tests normal replace the TDM.
- Measure and record the voltage at the battery terminals. Ignition ON, measure the voltage between the ignition voltage circuit terminal 2 and ground. Verify that the voltage readings do not differ more than 1 volt.
- If greater than specified value, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open / high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the TDM.
