DTC detecting condition Trouble area
P0481: Fan 2 Control CircuitΒ 
This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met.
  • Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 2 and No. 3 drive circuit is high level (OFF) for 5 sec. even if command signal of radiator cooling fan is at high speed.
  • Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 2 and No. 3 drive circuit is low level (ON) for 5 sec. even if command signal of radiator cooling fan is NOT at high speed.

(2 D/C detection logic but MIL does not light up)
  • Radiator cooling fan relay No. 2 (coil side) and/or its circuit
  • Radiator cooling fan relay No. 3 (coil side) and/or its circuit
  • ECM
