- Hoist vehicle.
- Remove right and left engine under covers, and check oil leakage. If leakage exists, correct it.
- Remove transfer oil level/filler plug (1), check for oil contamination, and that the oil is just below the oil level/filler plug hole (2).
If oil is excessively dirty or insufficient, replace oil or pour specified oil up to plug hole.
- Apply sealant to thread of level/filler plug, and then tighten it to specified torque.
