A/C Compressor Disassembly and Reassembly: Reassembly

2013 Suzuki Kizashi Sport GTS, FWDSECTION Reassembly

Reverse disassembly procedure noting the following points.

  • Fit protrusion (1) on underside of magnet clutch coil into hole (2) on A/C compressor body assembly.

  • Use new snap rings.
  • Press fit magnet clutch pulley (1) by using special tool and hydraulic press.

    Special Tool 

    1. 09951-15511

  • Apply thread lock cement to thread part of armature plate bolt and tighten it to specified torque.

    Tightening torque 

    Armature plate bolt: 18 N.m (1.8 kg-m, 13.5 lbf-ft) 

    : Thread lock cement 99000-32050 (Thread Lock Cement 1342) 

  • After reassembling A/C compressor, confirm clearance between armature plate and magnet clutch, see A/C Compressor Inspection .
