- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY REPLACEMENT .
- Using the J 36346, disconnect the shift control cable (1) from the transaxle range switch lever (4).
- Depress the shift control cable retainer clip tabs (2) and remove the shift control cable from the shift control cable bracket (3).
- Remove the shift control cable bracket bolts.
- Remove the shift control cable bracket.
