2013 Suzuki Kizashi Sport GTS, FWDSECTION Fuel Pump Description

The fuel pump (1) is an in-tank type electric pump. Incorporated in the pump assembly are; a fuel filter (2), a fuel pressure regulator (3), a fuel level sensor (4) and a jet pump (4WD model) (5). For 4WD model, the jet pump (5) installed in the fuel pump sucks up fuel from the sub fuel level sensor side to the fuel level sensor side through the fuel suction pipe by using negative pressure produced when pressurized fuel in the fuel pump passes the venturi (6).
