- For CVT model, place select lever in "P" and apply parking brake.
For M/T model, place gear shift lever in "Neutral" and apply parking brake.
- Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- While listening to sound of injector (2) by using sound scope (1) or the like, increase engine speed to higher than 3, 000 rpm.
- Check that injector operation sound stops when throttle valve is closed instantly and it is heard again when engine speed is reduced to 1, 500 rpm.
