DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Was "4WD control system check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to 4WD CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
4WD control module power supply circuit check 
  1. Disconnect "L14" connector with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF".
  2. Check for proper terminal connection to "L14" connector.
  3. If connection is OK, check that voltage between "A1" circuit and ground is battery voltage.

Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 3. "4WD" fuse blown, repair or replace defective wire harness.
4WD control module ground circuit check 
  1. Check that resistance between "A2" circuit and ground is less than 1 Ω.

Is it in good condition? 
Go to Step 4. Repair or replace defective wire harness.
Charging system check 
  1. Check charging system, see GENERATOR TEST .

Is it in good condition? 
Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck DTC, see 4WD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Repair or replace charging system.
