A/C Compressor Assembly Removal And Installation
Removal
1. Recover refrigerant from A/C system referring to "Recovery" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
2. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
3. Remove right side engine undercover.
4. Remove accessory drive belt.
5. Disconnect magnet clutch connector (1).
6. Disconnect suction hose (3) and discharge hose (4) from A/C compressor (2).
CAUTION: Using caps, seal open fittings immediately to keep moisture and foreign matter out of the system.
7. Remove A/C compressor mounting bolts (5), and then remove A/C compressor.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
- Apply specified compressor oil to new O-ring
: Compressor oil 99000-99022-00E (Compressor oil (DH-PS, 250cc))
- Tighten A/C compressor mounting bolts in numerical order ("1" through "3") to specified torque as shown.
Tightening torque
A/C compressor mounting bolt (a): 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.5 lbf-ft)

- If A/C compressor is replaced, pour new compressor oil referring to "Replenishing Compressor Oil" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
- Evacuate and charge A/C system referring to "Evacuation" and "Charge" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
Removal
1. Recover refrigerant from A/C system referring to "Recovery" in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
2. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
3. Remove right side engine undercover.
4. Remove accessory drive belt.
5. Disconnect magnet clutch connector (1).
6. Disconnect suction hose (3) and discharge hose (4) from A/C compressor (2).
CAUTION: Using caps, seal open fittings immediately to keep moisture and foreign matter out of the system.
7. Remove A/C compressor mounting bolts (5), and then remove A/C compressor.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
- Apply specified compressor oil to new O-ring
: Compressor oil 99000-99022-00E (Compressor oil (DH-PS, 250cc))
- Tighten A/C compressor mounting bolts in numerical order ("1" through "3") to specified torque as shown.
