Exhaust Manifold Installation
2008 Suzuki Swift +SECTION Exhaust Manifold Installation
- Install the exhaust manifold and gasket.
- Install the exhaust manifold retaining nuts and tighten in the sequence shown.
Tighten:Β Tighten the exhaust manifold retaining nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the exhaust manifold nuts to the catalytic converter.
Tighten:Β Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
- Install the heat shield.
Tighten:Β Tighten the heat shield bolts to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).
- Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
