Generator Installation
2005 Suzuki Verona EXSECTION Generator Installation
- Install the generator to the generator bracket and insert the generator bolt.
TightenΒ
Tighten the generator bracket upper bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb-ft).
Tighten the generator bracket lower bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb-ft).
- Connect the harness connector to the back of the generator, and the generator lead to the battery.
- Route the serpentine accessory drive belt. Refer to "SERPENTINE ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION ".
- Relieve tension on the belt by first applying downward pressure on the automatic tension roller bolt and releasing pressure once the belt is in place.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
