Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
ACCEL/Resume Switch
When ACCEL/RESUME switch is rotated to ON position with vehicle moving, vehicle speed will continue to increase as long as switch is held in ON position. When switch is released, current vehicle speed is stored in CC ECU memory and vehicle maintains a constant operating speed. If vehicle speed is greater than 25 MPH after cruise control system operation is canceled, moving switch to ON position will resume speed at which vehicle was operating before cruise control system operation was canceled. The ACCEL/RESUME switch is part of multifunction switch located on steering column. See Figure .
