Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

2001 Suzuki Esteem GLX, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Remove Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor from intake manifold and place in water with a thermometer. Heat water to specified temperature and check resistance. See Fig 1 . Replace sensor if resistance is not within specification.
